Banstead Coaches Ltd is a well established private hire coach company, with over 70 years experience of providing travel services.
We aim to, and believe we give, excellent quality service with a personal touch. We have managed to maintain the quality and reliability of our service by not growing any bigger as a company, but just modernising and streamlining the fleet we already have.
Banstead Coaches was founded in 1949 by the Haynes and Pullen families. It has always been a family based company. It started with just a few coaches replacing some coal lorries that were operated with benches during the summer.
We are happy to work with you and tailor your trip to your specific needs. As we work with all different kinds of of companies and organisations - such as schools, community run clubs, companies and businesses, including the travel industry, lawn tennis associations (including The All England Lawn Tennis Association), wedding parties, football clubs, - we believe we offer a comprehensive range of trips both home and abroad.
Our fleet is regularly serviced and all coaches have been owned by us from new. They are all fitted with mobile phones, PA sytems, reclining seats, seat belts, and have air conditioning. We update our fleet with new models every year, which is how we are able to give and maintain such a high standard of service.
The company traditionally bought British products (eg, Plaxtons, Dennis's, Duple and Bedfords). The coaches were originally painted in blue and cream but soon changed to our now distinctive pink and white. We have been based at 1, Shrubland Road, Banstead since the outset and we don't have any plans to move!
Our customers range from schools to companies to football teams. We have worked with the AELTC for over 30 years and have been working with Heineken for the Olympics. Weddings and parties to evening theatres, what ever the customer requires we try our very best to satisfy their needs. All our drivers have been employed for their attitude and professionalism in their job. They all have a DBS check and have had their full CPC training. Many customers get used to our drivers and specifically request them for their next outings.
